Li & Fung Group, a leading conglomerate with an international portfolio and footprint. William has known CERS for over two decades and is one of its stern supporters, including joining us on expeditions. He is also keen on supporting education and has been a long-time trustee of Princeton University.

Dr Cheng is Emeritus Professor at the University of Hong Kong. He was Chair Professor of Education, Dean of Education, Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Senior Advisor to the Vice-Chancellor of the University. He publishes extensively, and has delivered over 200 keynotes in international meetings. He writes a column in a Hong Kong Daily, and one in Shanghai Education and Escuela (Spain).

Chairman of the Jebsen Group, an international trading company dating back over a Century in China and Hong Kong. Mr Jebsen is a philanthropist with leading role in culture exchange and the environment. He is Chairman of HKUST Advisory Council, Chairman of the Asian Art Council, and former Chairman of WWF-HK.

Christabel is Managing Director of Toppan Vite Ltd which is one of the leading financial printing companies in the Asia Pacific region. She has been CERS patron and supporting the publication of CERS newsletters for a number of years.

Co-founder Tencent, in charge of technology, and corporate philanthropy. Currently, Venture Capital and Angel Investor.

Afonso has known CERS for many years and has been a long-time supporter. He has sent his daughter to consecutive summers as our intern. He is a member of the YPO Pearl River Delta Chapter and graduated from Boston College. Afonso is well connected through his business portfolio to Mainland China and Macau. He was first introduced to CERS and HM through current board member Christabel Lee.

Dr. Pang is an engineer and the CEO of Asia Allied Infrastructure Holdings Limited (Asia Allied Infrastructure). Asia Allied Infrastructure focuses on exploring development opportunities in the Asia Pacific region and overseas markets.

Joyce holds bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Tongji University, MBA in Finance and Strategic management from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania followed by a Master of Arts degree in East Asian Art from Sotheby’s Institute in London.
Outside work, Joyce enjoys sailing, hiking, fencing, mountaineering, classical music, wine, and is passionate about art.

Entrepreneur in Myanmar and HK, with interest in real estate, telecom and education.

Janice Wang (secret, though his father, the late Dr Kenneth Wang, was my contemporary) was one of our earliest interns, dating back to 2000 when she was attending Barnard College at Columbia. She has visited numerous CERS project sites and have become great friends of many of our associates. Janice is CEO of Alvanon, a leading apparel business and product development company. She is a member of the YPO Pearl River Delta Chapter.

Founder chairman of Bull Capital, a private equity firm with investment interest in the Greater China region.

Billy is Group Chairman and Chief Executive of Shell Electric Holdings Ltd as well as Vice Chairman of China Overseas Grand Oceans Group Ltd. He sits on a number of government committees in both China and Hong Kong and is a member of China People’s Political Consultative Conference Guangzhou Committee. He actively supports charitable activities in China and Hong Kong and has been CERS patron for over fourteen years.
