Zhang Fan is CERS China Director, having been involved with CERS since 1990. Zhang also serves as Director of Yunnan University’s Institute of Geography. He is a biologist by training, specializing in birds and also a frequent caver. Zhang acted as How Man’s special assistant in China for many years.
