Wong Chi-chuen (Stanley) is a home-grown artist from Tai O, a fishing village of Hong Kong. At a young age, he loves making sketches of the stilt houses along the water canal of his home. This passion led on to his later years to becoming a student in art, including a stint at the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou. In all his travels, be it in Europe or around Asia, he would make quick sketches of places he visited. This portfolio of sketches were made when Chi-chuen visited CERS Zhongdian Center in Shangri-la Yunnan, including a trip to our Xiangguqing Snub-nosed Monkey site of the Lisu minority nationality living in log houses – Wong How Man
